AS Roma has revealed the schedule for their pre-season preparations, which includes a friendly match against Borussia Dortmund and a training camp in Wales.
The Giallorossi are entering the next season with renewed optimism following their qualification for the Champions League, marking their return after a seven-year absence.
Roma’s Pre-Season Plans
Coach Gian Piero Gasperini will have greater influence over the team’s transfer strategy and preparations for the upcoming campaign.
This approach aims to escape the intense summer heat of Rome and avoid lucrative, yet often distant, friendly matches.
Instead, the Lupi are scheduled to conduct the latter part of their pre-season training camp in Wales, taking place from late July to early August.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, their base will be the same facility used by the Wales rugby team for its training, located in Hensol, near Cardiff.
Furthermore, Borussia Dortmund has announced that they will host Roma for a friendly encounter at their home stadium, Signal Iduna Park, on August 15.
